Alicia manages to get a re-trial of someone named Clarence Wilcox that has been on re-trial for six years. His family convinces Alicia and Cary that he may have been falsely accused of robbing a store and killing a cop. The judge doesn't agreed with them and makes a verdict that he stays on death row, but Kalinda discovers evidence that leads her to visit Peter in jail. But Peter can only tell what he knows with no camera's under once circumstance, conjugal circumstances. Peter gives them a reason to get a retrial when he reveals that the detective in charge of Clarance's case had been accused of planting a gun.
